Membership Criteria
The following outlines the membership criteria for the American Society of Implant & Reconstructive Dentistry.
ASIRD Candidate
- Licensed dentist, not the subject of disciplinary proceedings being conducted by the State Dental Licensing Authority or any Dental Association
- Actively participating in an ASIRD surgeon sponsored education program
- Candidates are not members of ASIRD, but are granted membership benefits on a conditional basis
- Acceptance to membership level is reviewed semi-annually
ASIRD Member
- Licensed dentist, not the subject of disciplinary proceedings being conducted by the State Dental Licensing Authority or any dental association
- Actively participating in an ASIRD surgeon sponsored education program
- Treatment planned and restored a minimum number of implants per year with ASIRD surgeon sponsor
- Acceptance to membership level is reviewed semi-annually
ASIRD Associate
- Licensed dentist, not the subject of disciplinary proceedings being conducted by the State Dental Licensing Authority or any Dental Association
- Actively registered and completed one (1) year of an ASIRD surgeon sponsored education program
- Treatment planned and restored a minimum number of implants per year with ASIRD surgeon sponsor
- Membership level is reviewed annually
ASIRD Associate Fellow
- Licensed dentist, not the subject of disciplinary proceedings being conducted by the State Dental Licensing Authority or any Dental Association
- Actively registered and completed two (2) consecutive years of an ASIRD surgeon sponsored education program
- Treatment planned and restored a minimum number of implants per year with ASIRD surgeon sponsor
- Membership level is reviewed annually
ASIRD Fellow
- Licensed dentist, not the subject of disciplinary proceedings being conducted by the State Dental Licensing Authority or any dental association
- Actively registered and completed three (3) consecutive years of an ASIRD surgeon sponsored education program
- Treatment planned and restored a minimum number of implants per year with ASIRD surgeon sponsor
- Membership level is reviewed annually
